My daily calorie needs to Maintain my weight are 2807, is it okay if i eat only 1500 calories?

i input my weight height and age and my bmr total is 2807. Is it okay if i were to eat 1500 calories a day for weight loss? i mean from going to that many calories a day to 1500 the next, like abruptly. thanks :)

    Yes I think 1,500 calories is fine. Thats whats normally reccomended for weightloss.

    Thats perfect. 1500 calories is how many you should eat if you want to lose weight. You should eat 2000 to maintain weight, and 2500 to gain weight!

    You can, definitely. The basal metabolic rate calculators can overestimate. You may actually need 2100-2500, but I’m not sure. Anyways, that’s a 1300 calorie deficit, which means you’ll lose a lot of fat & muscle tissue. My advice is to eat a LOT of protein on 1500 calories so that way your body won’t need to pull proteins out of your lean body mass. Try to eat at least 200grams of protein a day, and for an added weight lost boost, if you consume about

    if you dont then yea but id do it slower
    like 2500cals for two days
    2200cals two days
    1900cals two day
    1500cals and stay there
    itd be better
