Yes I think 1,500 calories is fine. Thats whats normally reccomended for weightloss.

You can, definitely. The basal metabolic rate calculators can overestimate. You may actually need 2100-2500, but I’m not sure. Anyways, that’s a 1300 calorie deficit, which means you’ll lose a lot of fat & muscle tissue. My advice is to eat a LOT of protein on 1500 calories so that way your body won’t need to pull proteins out of your lean body mass.
