Is 1500 calories a day enough for me?

Clash asked:

I’m a guy and i’m 5′10. I’m doing 30 minutes of cardio a day (burning 250 calories) and eating 5 small meals adding up to 1500 calories.

Is my calorie intake good? Should I eat more or less? Give me some help.

    How to Lose Weight

    Men:
    66 + (6.3 x weight in pounds) + (12.9 x height in inches) – (6.8 x age in years)

Please note that this formula applies only to adults.

    Calculate Activity

Step two: In order to incorporate activity into your daily caloric needs, do the following calculation:
If you are sedentary : BMR x 20 percent
If you are lightly active: BMR x 30 percent
If you are moderately active (You exercise most days a week.): BMR x 40 percent
If you are very active (You exercise intensely on a daily basis or for prolonged periods.): BMR x 50 percent
If you are extra active (You do hard labor or are in athletic training.): BMR x 60 percent
Add this number to your BMR. aka the calories that you need in a day to maintain weight. to lose weight you need to cut back calories. remember, every 500 is equal to a pound a week.

    Need to lose weight?

Perfect intake. Don’t ever go down the calorie need of 1,475. It’s unhealthy. But 1,500 is perfect for losing weight and as a diet.

    Lose weight fast

If you want to lose weight, 1500 calories it’s ok. But if you want to maintain your weight you should eat 1750.

    Good luck.

    Metabolism and Your Weight

as long as your eating enough food (you dont feel hungry often) and you have the right amount of energy this is fine. if you find that you have a lot or even too much energy than this could be too many calories, but if you feel tired and dont have much energy it could be not enough for you.

    Lose weight fast

a healthy intake for men is 2550 calories, but it depends also if you are trying to lose weight or bulk up. if your trying to bulk up 1500 calories is not enough to support your energy demands
