    Lose weight, Lose Fat

Bryan, All diets have at the end of them, eat right and exercise. Forget diet pills, they are dangerous because a lot of them contain chemicals and again eat right and exercise. When I was younger, I picked out the weight I wanted to be, and at that time it was 185 pounds. So according to an old Doctor friend of mine, He said, pick out the weight you want to be and times it by ten, that was 1850 calories, the amount of calories you should eat a day. That’s a good start. Do some moderate exercises, drink lots of fluids, especially water. Stay away from Sugar and Salt, only the lowest on a can label. Frozen Vegetables are best. No fruits from a can because of the syrup, watch the carbohydrates. Eat small portions of lean meat, eggs for protein, vegetables and fruits. Once you get your stomach smaller, it doesn’t take as much to fill. I dieted all week and on Sunday, I ate like a horse. Then on Monday, back on my diet. I lost twenty pounds doing that. It takes a while, but you don’t want to lose weight to fast. No sense in paying some company or organization for their diets when you can do it yourself. You just have to have the will and courage to do it. I wouldn’t put to much stock in grapefruit either. I forget the medicines, but it you take them and eat grapefruit, you will get sick. If the Mayo Clinic doesn’t endorse the Mayo Clinic Diet, you can bet their is a good reason. Get on Mayo Clinic Website and pose them with that question. I don’t know if you are wanting to lose weight or just asking a question about the Mayo Clinic Diet. Whatever way you are leaning Bryan, wishing you the very best and good luck.

Negative Calorie Foods

Since the process of digestion requires the use of calories for energy, sometimes the net amount of metabolizable energy available from a food is less than the gross number of calories contained in the food.
